Y'know, I hadn't thought about the idea of using the 3DS to make up for a lack of regular controllers. Just another way Mr. Sakurai goes a step further for us all!

sakurai, you are my hero, i have been wainting to this wish come true for almost 6 years and is finally going to happen, 9 hours left for the most waited game of the year and probably the best game of the year, the hell with call of duty AW, or halo MCC, those are great games, but not compared with this masterpiece, cause nintendo ROCKS!!!!!

It was fun Sakurai! The WiiU version will be amazing! I cannot wait to see Sonic, Lucario, Diddy Kong, Ike, Little Mac, Duck Hunt, and A BUNCH of other characters in HD! The wait was worth it!

I'm very impressed with how many controllers of one type can be connected simultaneously... 8 3DSs (though they each need a copy of the 3DS version), 7 Wiimotes(!), 8 Gamecube controllers (with two adapters), etc. Too bad there are deep shortages of the GC controller bundle, at least in Canada.

Do any custom special moves for unlockable characters get transferred to the WiiU version require the character to be unlocked first? I have all of Lucina's custom specials and the Smooth Lander Agility Badge (allows automatic L-Cancelling) that I want to bring over from the 3DS. I guess I'll find out when I get the WiiU version!

I doont have a wii U. -_-,
