For some odd reason, I've been carving mega potions off large creatures, and nothing else. It's becoming a real problem.

In arena quest?Because it does that :p.

Some hunts do that as well, usually when fighting three or more monsters in one trip. Small monsters also drop weaker items like rations on those hunts.

That's normal. It happens on any quest that says the objective is to "Hunt all large monsters" (usually 3-4 monsters).

Also on those quests, carving small monsters will always give rations. I've heard those quests don't give capture rewards, but I haven't confirmed it.

I always thought in the Arena while the monsters are alone they would eat the mega potions and rations since there's no food around lol
