    Here's the deal. It's probably what the developer is trying to get across. He has to make money to develop new games. Whether, it was your game of choice or not. He stated by helping his game out. He'll bring other games in. You buy a game. He gets cash. The more bought games. He can use toward other games. It's the same reason some 3rd party developers have left Nintendo.I fully support his games
