Does anyone else find it weird that, no matter where they are, all blocks and switches in the game have the Gerudo symbol on them?

  • I've never noticed that. Maybe Gerudo is really a factory and they put their logo on everything they make.

  • lol maybe. Also, all armos statues have the Goron symbol on their face. Maybe the Gorons have their own factory!

  • The corporations are taking over! Do the Kokiri's have a symbol? If not then the only logical explanation is that they are Santa's elves.

  • The Kokiri symbol is the red mark on the wooden shield, and I don't recall seeing it anywhere...

  • It would rock if they were elves, though.

  • It would be cool. Apparently they Kokiri's are actually based off of the children of Neverland from Peter Pan. Their are a few obvious similarities such as the fact that they wear green and never grow up.

  • I just figured out what the Kokiri's must make: ocarinas. Think about it: Saria seems to have enough to hand out to every hero who just so happens to need one.

  • Both those seem likely. I always compared the Kokiri to Tolkein's Hobbits. They're short, they're farmers (judging by yhe equipment in Link's house), and they're afraid to leave their homeland.

  • well it says that he or she must not leave the forest or they will die or turn to a skull kid(s) BUT in the end of Zelda OOT they are happily together with hylians....

  • @Brandon: That's another reason I compare them to Hobbits. The idea that they will die upon leaving is probably just fear or superstition on their part, just as Hobbits are afraid to leave the Shire, and think anybody who does is crazy.

  • it could also be that they are not trained to go out so there most likely to die..,

  • I still think it's superstition. They have a sword and can fight using deku nuts and sticks if they so chose. There are even monsters living in the forest. Maybe they got so used to the protection offered by the Deku Tree that they're too afraid to stray too far from him.

  • or maybe after ganon is defeated hyrule is safe so they could now leave the forest.

  • That's explain why they're partying at the ranch at the end. Maybe they were afraid of Ganon?
