I think it's confirmed that this guy is the kid in the graveyard 7 years later.. Things similar: they both carry the same stick with them, they are both interested in ghosts and if u look at his hands and legs, u can see that he isnt old... just about a teen and he isnt all that tall... so he isnt the guard who stood there in the past although he took a liking to mischeif as well..

    I used to think the same, but what I read on the internet made me think differently. First, he calls Link 'young man', suggesting that he is older than he appears. Second, the graveyard kid is embarrassed by his cuteness, while the Poe Collector laments "If I had looks like yours I could be in a different line of business." implying that he wishes he were more attractive.

    He could be the guard, starving and malnourished, which would explain his size. Also, his clothing resembles that of a guard. We may never know who he is for sure.
