So, whatever happened to 3D Classics? They should continue those. I would love to have 3D Classics: Ice Climber, with better jumping controls and detailed backgrounds like in Kid Icarus.

  • I didn't really research it, I watched a video of the first level and it looked really short and once I realized the whole game was 8 levels I decided to get KI.

  • It's still a good game, though, you should get it. And it's more than 8. Maybe, like, 13.

  • Huh, when I saw the start screen, it looked like 8 levels to me.

  • Really? Umm... Ok.

  • 2 is the only one I beat so far, I also have 1 and 3.

  • I never played a single Mega Man game yet.

  • The Wii U version is better. Yes, I know it had a ton of glitches, but that's what made it more challenging. Plus, when it does get too hard, you can just use a restore point (something the 3D Classics version doesn't have), so it's a win-win!

  • You mean Kid Icarus? I'm not too much of a fan of difficulty caused by glitches, that doesn't sound very fun. And the 3D Classics version saves after every level, has multiple save files, and better controls/physics.

  • Yeah. The 3D Classics version is better in every way except for the restore points.

  • It makes it too easy, though. And I'm not a big fan of making a game easier by messing with its formula. That's what they did with DKCR3D.

  • And 3D for Zelda 1 & 2 as well. I really would like them to go back to making 3D Classics...

  • Maybe a 3D Zelda 1 can make the controls more like Link's Awakening with diagonal movement. I really didn't like Zelda 1's controls.

  • Buddy, it's not messing with the formula. It's improving what was wrong with the game. If a game is hard because of glitches, it's probably a hastily-made game.

  • The glitches weren't even that big of a deal. It's been a while since I last played, but if I remember correctly, major glitches only popped up occasionally, and they mostly just affected enemies, actually making the game game EASIER! The main problem was the bad physics, which weren't even that bad once you got used to them. SMB had bad physics, too, but you don't see them correcting THOSE.

  • They also added a rapid fire feature in the 3D Classics version, which was completely unnecessary and meant that people could just spam arrows, rather than having to use any actual timing or skill to defeat enemies!

  • SMB had bad physics?

    Yeahs0
  • I guess in his opinion. I feel like the physics are more or less the same in every 2D Mario.

  • Actually I think you jump really high in SMB3.

  • I haven't played much of SMB3. I just don't like it that much.
