  • Please do elaborate. Also, any tips for this character? I seem to take a lot of damage as a Vanguard. And do you spec for the chance at a free biotic charge or the other option?

  • Very true JQWESS, but many gamers are scared/hate taking Drell's in Gold/Platinum matches. They're great if ya know how-to work them. I really like them. I'll make a post of how I like them and JQWESS should to.

  • First you have to think of them like a finesse type character. Barriers are different from Shields and you have to really avoid and set-up your combos, power cycles, and weapons accordingly (like shotgun for Vanguard and Acolyte for Adept). For Vanguard, charge with 100% shield recup hit it and then Cluster-nade to get combo, then shotgun, and repeat. If you get damaged, get to cover.

  • For the Adept Drell, think increasing the area with powers, biotic explosions, and playing from a distance. First shoot Acolyte to get rid of shields, then Pull, then Reave for combo, or Reave and then nade for one. Hope that helps and if you want an exact load-out just ask any of us Vets on ME3 we have nothing to hide because it will just help the team overall, hahaha!

Also remember that you take less damage while you are dodging. So charge in, etc., then just back and side flip to somewhere safe. It's true for all the other squishy chars too. I'm learning to do it a lot better on my alt, no fancy guns = more skill (and acobatics) needed.
