Sometimes I wonder how my NES was never thrown out the window when the world did not have Restore Points. But I guess I just didn't know any better

  • In my house, it was my dad's controller that'd get spiked after untimely deaths in SMB and SMB3. Guess that's where I learned my Melee controller spikes....

  • I'd say it's because the most merciless games actually stayed in Japan, until now! This one actually makes the difficulty level of games like Gradius, Ninja Gaiden, Mega Man and Castlevania feel reasonably fair!

  • That is true, PAT. While this game is difficult, I do not feel it is unfairly difficult (for the most part, the other games you mentioned are not unfairly difficult either, but are nonetheless very hard)

  • I'd be curious to play this one on a large TV screen. There are so many enemies and flying projectiles on the screen at once that it gets hard to follow them all on the 3DS's small screen. I might give this one another go if it hits the Wii U.
