Gonna try and get back motivated into playing 3U again soon by soloing a few monsters i've yet 2 solo like: G-Event jhen, Event abyssal lagi, and that giant green plesi/small plesi event. I have solo'd "father and son outing" but not against the daddy plesi tho so i still see it as an unfinished accomplishment. But other than the first 2 i named im pretty much done with every quest almost which is

Yo CB i really need help with Clashing Fists. I figured since your so experienced you may be able to lend me a hand or give me some advice. You may or may not know that i'm a hammer specialist and i need that healing hammer

Ur attempting it solo? Or are u trying 2 find a good group of ppl 2 help ya? Either way tho if it's solo then the only advice i can give ya is 2 make a set that grants attack boosting skills and hit it on the face as much as u can 2 deal out the most efficient amount of damage, even more so since ur very accustomed with hammers. And stock up on a lot of traps (mainly pitfalls and maybe 1 or 2-

-shock traps and use the pitfall traps whenever it's tired and pound away at the head. Basically hit it in it's main weak spot as much as u can with a lot of power goin 4 ya without getting hit much. As 4 group hunting the strategy that works best 4 me is 2 users with water weps (one being a hammer user also) and 2 users with para weps and spam trap when it's tired.

The constant paralyzing and ko'ing really helps a lot against event brach.

You know what i may need to finish my new water armor and hammer for this quest. I need 1 more Darkdragongem to make my Goldbeard Ceadus armor and i'm gonna make the Jhen Mohran hammer to go with it. When i complete that i think i'll be ready and i'll need to find people who use para. Do u think sleep bombing it or bombing it when its in the Pitfall would be effective?

Yes very effective. Especially when it's asleep since monsters takes twice the usual damage when attacked while sleeping so those LBB+ will do number on event brach while it's asleep and it'll help 2 break the horn faster 2 so u can stay pounding away at the wound on it's head which deals a lot of damage 2 event brach.

Ya the constant ko'ing will make it so much easier as well as para from others with water damage washing away that moldy beast! Lol! Adding skills 2 help get more ko's in will help with stunning it more often.

Heya CB, yeah I'm pretty much the same boat as you, and it's really weird transitioning from MHFU back to 3U, to the point where I might just make a new character to start from scratch to do a challenge run. Going back to my main character I'm always reallly confused.

Ya i have a 2nd character i made since last yr which is a female but as with all mh titles, i never really could bring myself 2 go through the entire game a 2nd time around since i did so much the 1st time. Unless i take a super long break and have a crave 2 play through it again like with mhfu.

MHFU is a breath of fresh air after 3U, and I imagine having played 4 that makes you want to go through 4U more than back to 3U too.

Ya lol can't wait 2 play the G expansion so i'll have more quests and new monsters 2 hunt. Although the only real new monster 2 me since i've already played the original is "Steve" XD. Hopefully a few more new ones as well as white fatalis gets added.

Steeeeveeeee, well here's hoping there's interesting subspecies and some hidden gem monsters to look forward to. Are you going to get 4G or wait till the western release?

Ya there's subspecies of some of the new monsters. And i probably will since i've completed just about everything on mh4 save 4 one quest, plus i'll get 2 exp it early and u can even transfer the data over 2 mh4g. But either way im getting the english version as well.

There's still no exact release date 4 the english version, all we know is that it's early 2015. It may release in january but i kind of doubt it since we usually gets them in the spring.
