    its not to bad just make sure you have a designated healer default when its in shield mode because you cant damage it exept with items apparently and brave 3 times with each character when it transforms

    oh and the first turn after it transforms it will always do a devastating attack so default that turn as well use a units turn to heal and bo all out you will only get that turn to attack before it transforms so make it count

    level grinding your alchemist helps too because they have the item lore ability which helps a lot for your healer and enhace healing items. if you manage to restore norende close to its max level and have a ton of pg buy dragon fangs and have the alchemist compound beast liver and dragon fang which will make giants draft that gives you double hp it helps a lot.

    Energy Burst is a physical attack, but the Suck attacks are magical, so if you have a Performer you can buff accordingly (a Pirate can also debuff accordingly; debuffs can also be used when his shield is up). Make sure to note whether you outspeed Chaugmar or not, then you can time attacks to hit him during the turn he Transforms. The rest ... play defensively, heal a lot.
