ĦSweetWater: One of the most important thing to do, yet neglected, is to keep a journal. Worthwhile games are usually complex, so keeping a journal of some kind is advisable. SDSW is definitely worth it.

  • Here's a sample of how somebody would go from level 1 to level 30. This is a real sample, although some can be better, some can be worse. Also not the uneven scoring along the way. Sometimes, you get lucky. Others, very unlucky.

  • Even though I recorded these every 10 games, I don't really play 10 games per day. If game #10 is a win, I keep playing. If I lose 4 times in a row, I stop playing. If you're a free users, you can maximise streak count by playing until you lose. That's how the high scoring sessions were achieved.

  • If you're in a clan, compare your notes with other clan members. If you're a clan leader, ask your members to give you weekly report. So far, this was not done by anybody, anywhere. There is no sense of community. Sure there are postings of combat records, and sometimes battle tale, but they're really sporadic.

  • So, if you're a clan leader, especially those for level 30 and under, please ask your member to provide their records weekly. Some people will be better, some will be worse. Help those who fall behind. Let those who are ahead share their tactics. This is how you built a good, friendly community!

  • I have provided the scoring as a benchmark. It's on the higher end of the scale. I expect most people will fall between 100-200 pts/battle. If you do better than this, congratulations! You're a good player! If you do worse than this, don't get discouraged! Figure out what's wrong amd keep learning. 6 weeks is a good trial period.

  • There are other things that a good clan can do to help its members. Rewards for accomplishments, for one. This post is getting long, though, so I'll save it for next time. See you in the water!

  • what's a journal without a comprehensive battle log? I'm sure you can find several images of each stage online-print several of each and record the paths everybody took, as denoted by the end-of-match summary. make sure to note anythiing you found unique or exceptional; a trick somebody used, or a new tactic. Learn from others. Analyze. assimilate new information. Become better.

  • Tracing path is too much work. :p Remember, the field is divided into 9 sections. So little arrows drawn this way and that is enough. Yes, I noted in my journal memorable moments, and these should be shared with the group. Thanks.

  • looks like one of the old Trench spawn configurations. or cave. Yeah, the game is pretty cruel sometimes. You'll be having a great streak-and then you draw the short stick on this configuration.

  • oh, that's even worse. A 1v4, minus the actual 1v4 HP boost.

  • The second is consistent with pool. pretty bad. nowhere to hide, and with four enemies and no allies, not much of anywhere to run, either. At least you tried, vain as it may have been. Can't say that for everybody.

  • a bit of a basic race, there. even a slow vehicle can be quick if it has less distance to travel; thus you were able to get there around the same time and sink him. pretty clever, following from afar rather than chasing it outright.

  • Yup, you got it perfect! See what I mean? Tracing battle path is too much work! Just do little sketches here and there, and that's all that's needed!
