    buy coatings make sure there compatible with your bow press ab to activate coating. every shot uses up one coating. power coating increases damage, poison, para, sleep all inflict statuses. when useing status coatings it doesnt matter the charge the effect will be the same

    it just modifies your shots. power increases overall damage, close range increases the power of melee and shots in close range, and status replaces your element with a fixed ammount of status

    To actually apply a coating, you need to select it by holding L and pressing X or B to scroll through the coating list, and then press X and A at the same time to apply the currently-selected coating. Firing an arrow will consume one unit of the currently-applied coating, though slashing with A will not. Make sure to charge your shots, as higher charge levels make the coatings stronger.
