All they need to do is tighten the controls, keep the 3D parts how they are, give the 2D parts Genesis physics and bring back the quick jump, side step and drift for mach speed sections.

    I side step sort of takes away the need to position yourself though and those sections are more annoying then the mach speed section (like Jungle Joyride Day). I like these ones better.

    The mach speed sections didn't really need the jump, quick step and drift. I'd rather have this then the quick step. It's not that hard to position your self and there's only like 1 mach speed level.

    The Quick Step isn't needed, and the Drift doesn't even have to be used.

    But I liked using them. And I liked the quick jump for small obstacles. It looked cool. The side step is more precise than trying to position yourself with the stick.

    I didn't say anything about boost. I just think that those moves would be perfect for the mach speed sections only.

    I'm not saying it's bad how it is, but I think it would be more fun with those moves. No boost though. Running through everything was stupid.

    the boost, etc. is a revisit to the classic sonic, to the way that made sonic popular. i in fact, LOVE that.
