I don't agree. WW Ganon wanted Hyrule's peaceful wind but in the end his wish was to remove the Ocean so he could have Hyrule for himself. His motives start off well but quickly become corrupt.

Hilda only cared about restoring her kingdom. It doesn't devolve into a darker power hungry wish so much as she doesn't care who gets hurt so long as Lorule is restored. That kind of devotion is scary

Yuga didn't feel as involved in the story as Ghirahim in Skyward Sword, maybe it's because of how rarely you see him but everything had a nice twist

@ Nintendoer, true enough. I can agree that the initial motives for both were the same. Either way both are a refreshing change of pace. Aonuma is good a making the familiar seem new due these details

Agreed. I'm sure that if her Kingdom had decayed for long enough, Hilda's motives would have become as twisted as Ganondorf's, considering how similar their positions were.
