    Definately not as a Mario clone but instead would utilize his hammer, some items/special moves, and his partners in some way (Final Smash maybe?)

    It could definitely work. They should give him his own icon to separate him from the rest of the Mario cast(like Wario is), and let him rep his own games.

    I would prefer paper plane since I believe it would seperate Mario and Paper Mario better. But that's just my preference. :)
