    Items add their own strategy to the game. Who cares if it adds a bit of randomness to the game? This is Smash Bros., not chess. Are we banning G&W's Judge move, too?

    Why would peach put the bob omb down for you to walk into? (im salty over loosing many a match to a lucky peach main in ssbpm)

    being a competititive smasher, items dont get much hate. we just turn them off because tournaments test your skill, not your use of good RNG. :P i love items. but not competitively.

    I play competitive too, me and my friends feel playing without items would be like playing Mario Kart, except the karts had no wheels

    I play competitively with items off with friends and in tournaments. I turn them on when I'm battling my nephew 'cause he's real little and it's just for silly fun. :)
