Giving a Pokemon with Magic Guard a Flame Orb makes them Burned but not take any damage from it. Great to avoid Thunder Wave. Follow me for more tips~

    But technically Life Orb is better. Increased attacking power and no recoil from Life Orb.

    There's flaws in this I cannot get over. Burn cancels out Rest and affects your Pokemon's performance in the worst ways possible. Even if there's no effect damage, there will be drawbacks for DAYS.

    I understand what you two are saying and respect it. I was just throwing my two cents out there. I done this with a Reuniclus in White 2 and unless my opponent had Hex, I sat there and blew them apart
