    you have to have a friend to open up there town and go to the town train station and choose go to far away town

    You have to have a friend in your friend list that also plays Animal Crossing. Their gate has to be open, then you can go visit their town.

    You would need to trade friend codes and then open gate set to faraway and allow all friends. then you add them to best friend chat list so you can travel by notifying each other :)

    Mainly, you need to get someone's Friend Code and enter that in the Friend List back on the 3DS Menu
