I've been wondering lately if the controls are going to be comfortable on the 3DS. Dodging is obviously going to be the same buttons. I hope either x or y is for jumping an throwing.

  • they'll both be jumping

  • Who uses buttons to jump? That's what the control stick is for! n00b. XD

  • I hope only one is for jumping and the other for throwing. On the gamecube controller I preffered throwing with z+→ and jumping with x.It would be a burden combining L and A to grab/throw.

  • Noob? Really? Its all preference. Like when i play fps games, i prefer playing inverted. Doesnt make you a noob.

  • I might be comfortable with Y as attack moves, B as special moves, A and X for jump, R grab/shield, L just shield, Select for taunt so D-pad can be back up if analog breaks, and Start for pause.

  • Yeah.. well I'm sure they're working on whats best for all of us. I think it will be similar to GC controls. Maybe the touch screen will inlude some cool features too.

  • maybe we can use 4 pro controllers!!!!!!

    Yeahs0
  • In-game, all I can see the touch screen used for is camera changes or scoreboard, maybe screenshots/taunts at most. Or they'll go crazy and make you use it for final smashes, Nintendo is unpredictable

  • I was poking fun, Mr. Sensitive, but if you're going to maximize air attacks and meteor smashes, you're gonna use the control stick.

  • Oh I know that. I wasnt at all insulted. But I'm at my best when I play how I'm used to it. I'd give you my fc to see whos closer to being a noob but sadly the admin will just delete it. :(
