I fear that too many people have been overly attached to online social networking, that almost nobody wants to make friends with other people in-person, and rely on the to do internet for everything.

Ok smart nintendo! how else do we exchange fc's with other people? Magically enter their minds? Doubt they can even remember these 50 digit codes. Stop treating us like brain dead brats.

You should make it where if you friend someone on Miiverse, you automatically have eachother on your 3DS without the use of friendcodes. Like on the Wii U!

Why not be friends with a complete stranger? The point is to get to know them and the FC helps connect people and get to play games. Just to play games. Gamer buddies. :3

Even if friend codes are restricted here, there are still those traded in x and y. So really it makes no difference. Because games have communication, strangers will find a way.

I must remind you that this rule is dumb. Please listen to your hardcore fans for once. The competition makes friending people so easy.

Ok it Nintendo is worried about Strangers through friend codes on Animal Crossing tnen why did they make the island where you can exchange friend codes. Or why did tney make friend codes period!?

So you can friend random people on X and Y, but not on Miiverse? The only way the request would go through is if both people tapped 'yes' or if you could on Miiverse, you would have to add each other.

So why can't we post friend codes?!?!

Communicating on here doesn't mean we're that dependent on technology. X3 I have a life outside here. Not all of us are glued here.

Nintendo is just looking out for everyone. They care about a safe environment for their primary audience-younger people. I dont have a problem with their rules and regulations. Such is life.

Honestly, I kind of agree. Nintendo should make another partner website for people in the same area in a close age group so that they can make new real life friends and share friend codes.

Why not just be able to send requests on 3DS the same as you can on Wii U?

Honestly, this is a really stupid rule considering you have a Pokemon community which literally thrives on being able to trade/battle other players. Please consider changing this dumb policy.
