People already are sharing their friend code on Facebook, sites lile Serebii and those. And there are kids there also. MiiVerse should be no different. LET US EXCHANGE FRIEND CODES

The code of conduct states to not post embarrassing or personal stuff about other people or u like an adress or the country/state u live in. It says nothing about FC because it isn't personal info.

It's kind of silly that we're not allowed to make friends here, but I guess it's a minor restriction on an otherwise great service! I do really wish we could make friends here though.

I met some great people on here, and we all met up and played animal crossing. I had the time of my life, and its not worth taking away from these users

I agree with nintendo on this rule. Not only adults but children play the wii u and 3ds. Nintendo is a family system and wants to keep the younger players safe.

I seriously don't get why people are upset by this. Not that many games use the friend codes besides Animal Crossing and Pokémon (that I know of) and you can get friend codes in Pokémon anyway.

Look. I understand that the no FC rule is a letdown, but I'll take it. I like Miiverse well enough since Swapnote went down. The least you guys can do is follow what Nintendo is asking. It's not hard.

It seems to me that in order to enjoy a game that has multiplayer features (i.e. Pokemon or Animal Crossing), there is a need to share friend codes.By not sharing, it's not a full game that I paid for
