I'm writing a letter about this to NoA. I just bought my DS & can't even message my irl friends. Nintendo is constantly going against their 'play with friends & family' advertising & I'm tired of it.

would be an incentive to bring the older gamers to the wii u. In reality it would be of no extreme inconvience, and greatly appreciated by older gamers. Having posts deleted, or gamers banned at times

Now I can see why they wouldo this, but now if you want to play with each other, you would have to meet up in real life (more dangerous than online) to exchange friend codes. WTH!

The problem is the same thing it has always been ...children. You are the problem.

Friend codes should be completely up to us, not Nintendo as a whole. It shouldd be optional to display on Miiverse.

This is a really lame policy. Not all Miiverse users are kids, and there are already restrictions parents can activate for those who are minors. Don't punish everyone just b/c some parents are lazy.

nintendo is not a online type system its for family nintendo hates the idea of online stranger interactions

If you do not want us to interact with others you should remove Miiverse, colors!3d, animal crossing, pretty much all of the fun games. Do not have it if you do not want us to use it.

You can friend people on Wii U but not on 3DS, it's because some 3DS users might be ped0phi.les. Most parents don't watch their child on portable consoles. On Wii U, parents are able to see it often.

I agree with lots of points being made here. I would also like to add parents should parent their kids, not Nintendo. Figure out a good comprimise Nintendo. Still love you though!

Wii U average user age: 14. 3DS average user age: 9. That's why this and no friend requests are allowed.

Also, it doesnt need email! and you can work it on: computer, DSI, AND 3DS. You won't regret it!.

I embrace Nintendo's decision. It's a shame for responsible users, but you have to understand the restriction with critical thinking in mind. Nintendo isn't being unfair, Nintendo is being cautious.

then you should ad friend request like on wii u and make it that your wii u friends are 3ds friends aswell make it a real unified account

People should accept the rules or just don't use miiverse. I recommend accepting the rules because you could add anyone if this wasn't a rule even a complete stranger. I thank you Julie.
