Just add something to parental controls! Stop taking away features for everyone. Everybody that uses a 3DS isnt a child! So stop..im honestly getting pissed off more and more at you each day..

Guys, just use the internet. So much easier to talk to people that way anyway. Miiverse is for all ages and I think the rule is perfectly acceptable.

Ridiculous. I'm an adult. If I choose to share my FC with someone else, that is MY choice and MY liability. If you're so content with disallowing users to share FCs, then install a friend/PM system.

if parents are so concerned about it direct them to the parental controls instead of punishing everyone else because of the swapnote incident.

I like that nintendo did this.If you want to be friends with someone then follow them but this is a really good move by nintendo.

People, stop being upset, sad, worried, or mad about the friend codes! They just don't want you to exchange friend codes because there may be people you don't know who will give you your friend code.

I cannot possibly see any harm with exchanging FCs with others, as it is basically no different than Network IDs. If parents didn't want kids talking to strangers, then they would've set restrictions.

wait...wats the difference between posting friend codes and sending friend request? its virtualy the same thing and its not like you HAVE to accept a friend request, you can easily decline it.

It is stated many times MiiVerse is for impressions on games. Friend codes don't belong here. It's inappropriate for this medium. I don't want to look for Mario tips, only to be bombarded with fcs.

admins if your reading my post i think as a 19yo, that pokemon x and y players should be free to get friends by this method to allow better result of the game, and wish the same 4 people play othrgame

It's called personal information people! If you don't follow the Code of Conduct, then Miiverse will not exist anymore! It's nice that every one is being mature about this...NOT!

ok I won't exchange friend codes on miiverse but since Nintendo feels the need to remind people then that's a red flag that its a frustration for players who want to meet new friends with there 3DS

What is the point then? The games we play were made to play with others, so how is it right to take that away from us. Friend Codes let us have a chance to interact with others who love the same games
