    To get higher than 42.08, You have to get a boost from an Opponent CPU. In my Next Comment, I will give you my best way to get it, but it still requires Many Retries.

    First, You get 3 CPU's and set them all to either Easy, Normal, or a combination of both. Second, You Jump when the First Obstacle comes out and hope a CPU Moves under you, He should give a boost.

    Best Characters as CPU's that give you Boosts: Daisy, Peach, Boo, or Wario. Don't have Waluigi, nor Luigi as a CPU. They sometimes get boosted and let you go back.
