It's not an alliteration or a rhyme, so it must be a pun. But, I don't get it! Can someone explain the pun?

  • Not quite positive. Maybe its not even a pun.

  • @Dallin Aww, but then they just gave it a name! That's like giving an episode of Pokémon a non-pun name!

  • Well, either way, I'm not really sure. But, off topic, some Pkmn have no-pun names. Mr. Mime? Chespin? (maybe chespin is a pun) Magikarp? Helioptile Im not sure. You get the point.

  • @Dallin I meant episodes of the Pokémon TV series... Pokémon are named after words from various languages. I don't know that those would be puns... just names.

  • Ah. Well, some have names w/no pun. Examples: "Charmander the Stray Pokemon" "Enter Iris and Axew!" "Lumiose City Pursuit!" Etc.

  • @Dallin Oh, really? I haven't watched since Diamond & Pearl ended, so it's been a while. I just remember most of them being puns!
