    It's not really a glitch, it's just an invisible wall (like the ones in other sonic games that prevent you from going back), it's not expected that you need to go up there so they make it a wall.

    @Jared I think it would be harder if you didn't get a life for every 100 rings, just the first time. I already had 99 lives so I don't care but I did see people complaining about the no life thing
