    are u talking about azuros? if so i found a guide that says never attack head on it'llcaise the most damage also dont heal in front of him. any weapon, and any armor work.

    Ah, the azaroth(i think). Go to the left of the cave(going out of it) but dont leave that area. Lead the monster there, and fight him a little. Put the shock trap at the mouth of the cave, capture it.

    also when he goes to area 6 i think... he will try and eat fish to gain health so u have to stop him and last dont sharpen ur weapon in the same area, he too fast and will try to stop it.

    all i can say is learn his attack patterns at a distance then approach when comfortable. (you can apply this to the rest of the game)
