    You put it away of course, but gunlance notoriously takes a long time to put away. So, have nibelsnarf armor. If you don't want to then just keep on doing your forward attack with X

    dont get me wrong i love the gun lance. i started using it today and its fun to use. i usualy go with hammer or hunting horn but i like the gunlance now, its just i cant hit a monster if they run away

    no cause theres no real reason too. u will also regret it when u expected to be healed but get carted...just practice in moga woods or use a different weapon

    X while moving to thrust forward - really useful! Well, unless you're fighting Diablos, etc. OR, make your Cha-Cha use melee-oriented masks, so you wouldn't have to chase too far.
