    There was a sinking lure in the original, haven't found it in OoT 3d yet. It wasn't visible, but you could walk around different spots of the fishing hole and find it ...

    Yes. There is a Sinking Lure somewhere around the pond. I think you need to stand between the water cracks using iron boots. It worked for me. However it's a illegal to catch fish with that too
