    Annoyance: 30% There's a lot of cheap stuff that occurs in this game, but once you die once, you'll remember where the cheap thing is. It's nowhere near Ghosts n Goblins or Ninja Gaiden in cheapness.

    Overall: 85% Castlevania II is a very flawed game, but it has a lot of charm. Once you beat it a few times with a walkthrough or cheat device, you'll be able to do it on your own and fully enjoy it.

    It doesn't deserve all of the flak that it gets. I hate waiting for 5 seconds during day/night transitions, but it doesn't ruin the game. The AVGN's review is funny, but I think it overblows the flaws
