Question

Should I use my Rathian armor or my Barroth armor against the Lagiacrus? Rathian has Thunder Res -10 and Barroth has Thunder Res +5. Is there any noticeable difference?

    -10 res means you take 10% more damage from attacks with that element, 5 res means you take 5% less. On top of the better thunder res, Barroth armor has better skills, so use that.

    I switched to Rathian because Barroth armor makes me hungrier (in-game AND real life; kinda looks like baby back ribs). But if I could repel it before with that armor I can hunt with it too I suppose.

    Skills need +10 or -10 points to activate. If you put one Hungerless decoration on the armor it will remove Raise Hunger. Attack Up and Defense Up are well worth it, and Guard+1 if you lance.
