    high rank guild quests and the lvl guild quests are even harder, its like hunting super buff versions of every monster in the game thats abled 2 be hunted on lvl guild quests.

    Also its a lot harder now 2 obtain armor spheres so maxing out sets won't be as ez especially if ur trying 2 obtain heavy and true armor spheres. Now u have 2 obtain them in quests rewards cuz mining

    4 them will hardly get u any spheres and u can only obtain true armor spheres on high lvled guild quests.

    MH4 is nowhere close to being as hard as older monhun games. Tri wasn't hard either, everything has much tighter hitboxes, which makes it so much easier to avoid getting hit by monsters.

    Its village low rank quests 4 the most part are fairly ez but some of its high rank quests can be pretty hard 2 complete. As 4 its guild quests tho they're a lot harder but still doable.

    newer gens are 2 make the monsters less predictable and smarter, not boosting the heck out of their stats and making them broken and op that would be way 2 tedious and unfair if all monsters were like

    that. But as instated earlier, those that are looking 4 a true challenge, high lvled guild quests are just the thing hardcore players seek. Those monsters can 1 shot u ez.

    Every mh game i've played including 4 is pretty straightforward overall, mainly solo. Of course they're gonna be a breeze in groups. Try soloing mh4 and i guarantee u its just as hard as the old gens-

    which imo wasn't really hard its just that back then certain monsters had terrible hitboxes and broken moves but wasn't anything overly hard except fatalis but he's so predictable on the old gens and

    @kingfish exactly. 2 many ppl view it as the "ultimate hardest mh game" when its really not THAT hard its just cheap thats different. If u want a real hard mh game play the online ones.

    Sure mh4 isn't as cheap and unfair like the older gens cuz back then the games were so simple and downgraded and it has tighter hitboxes like u said now in these newer gens but thats what capcom and

    armor with guts you'll die from one shot and monster's hitboxes make alot more sense now when they're "hardcore” versions Rajang can do a spirit bomb and hits harder than a golden rajang.
