Why is it that before I forge an Amber Slash+, it says it has 30% affinity, but it goes back down to 10% after forging?

Does your armor have points into the Expert skill?

That would be why. When looking at the weapon in the upgrade preview it applies your armor skills, like expert. When looking at the weapon in the list of weapons to upgrade, it doesn't.

If you equip the weapon and check your equipment it will show the affinity boost.

Now what I'm confused about is that both AS and AS+ have 10% affinity, but when I equip AS, it shows 20%, but AS+ shows 30%. Where did the extra 10% come from? Nothing else in my equipment has changed

Oh wait, I'm an idiot. I had equipped something else that wasn't AS, which showed %20. Disregard previous post! D:
