    i'd recommend try giving your lure a little slack 2 get his attention if he's starting 2 bite reel the rod close and fast so he'll bite and get flung 2 u easily that happened 2 me.

    I read on Zelda Wiki that it appears every 4th time you enter the pond. Keep trying. I caught one as a child now, 16 pounds I think. I´mma post it now.

    There are some specific places. Try between the rocks near the stream, on that log inside the lake, I can't remember where else.
