    Go to the Lost Woods and meet the weird guy at the bottom of a tree. Speak to him and it will start a whole sidequest and at the end you'll have the sword.

    Uhm no, the guy is under the tree where Skull Kid used to be, go to Kakariko Village and speak with the Cuco Lady, she´ll give u a blue chicken, show it to the guy and start the massive sidequest.
