    I don't think its possible for dagg to survive. However, in the comic, if you recruit everyone, resolve their conflicts, work on the ship, and sacrifice the crew to prepare the mission,

    It is possible to save him. After holding off the Ravagers, he quickly escapes. He comes out of the cave, injured and covered with blood and Shepard helps him toward the ship.
