how do you beat this belphegor beast, i tried everything i got and it just gives him life, unless he an undead, do i kill him with cure.?

    Just use magics and magic based attacks like spell fencer in this order (I think) ~ Fire, Blizzard, Thunder. If you hit him with his weakness he'll change to the opposite of it.

    There is a cycle of spells you have to figure out. Find which spell deals damage first than repeat the cycle. Fire<Water<Lightning<Fire repeat..Good Luck!

    Try using examine so you can keep track of his current element. It's way easier than it sounds

    No. He's an areial. Every time you use one spell he's weak against, he'll change it after taking damage. So using Brave won't do well if you don't know what elemental weakness he'll change per damage.

    The cycle is fire-blizzard-thunder and repeat. You don't need to use scan, just brave 2-3 caracters that you are sure of initiative order and who can cast spells. Last one should heal. resist fire too

    If you follow the cycle, the damage will fall into place with only 1 or 2 spells off. You also need high resist magic and fire. I'm level 25 and can't kill him well yet. Also, he gives no money, Arg!

    I just suggested using examine if he was having trouble keeping track. So much good advice here, you should be able to win easy peasy. Good luck Pax :)

    thanks for all the advice everybody.. and whaaaat, you get no doe for beatin em.. that blows.. the only other badies in the village are level 70 and im only level 22 .

    He has a chance at dropping mind buns when you beat him. They permanently raise your mind stat. And it's extra exp & jp so it's all for nothing ^^

    wooohooo!!! i beat Belpegor at level 25 with 2 black mages and 2 white mages, with no risist fire... i also had the rods that enhance fire and lightening attack. so it is possible at our level Cass. ;
