How do you change which character is shown on the friend page? And where do you get new outfits 4 them too?

As you progress through the game you will get new jobs, which change your outfits, just use the menu and the job tab to change jobs... Different jobs work differently...

You can change which character is shown on the friend page by choosing the character you want and selecting send in combat. This is also how you choose which attack skill they get when they summon you

there are also special costumes unlocked when you max out some norende shops.

Oohhh I didn't think about the fact the outfits might be different jobs. I have the first 4 & assumed my friends only had those too. But some of them are much higher levels already.

New outfits can also be unlocked from obtaining building lvl 11 in the Norende restoration. Each cost 200,000pg
