    I'm not sure but I think you probably just buy them in later towns or something. If that is the case it's weird that they give you the summoner job so early

    You have to find the owl person to get more summoners. I think there might or might not have anymorer than 4

    In D's journal under notes it will tell you where the owl/wizards are. You'll have to survive their attacks though.
