    This attack deals damage equal to double your character's physical Defense! Since Knights have such a ridiculously high defense stat, this attack can be lethal in battle.

    This attack could also be made more powerful if you use the Ironclad ability (which raises defense for that turn) or have two shields equipped at once with the Dual Shields support ability.

    Since a Knight's attack stat isn't TOO exceptional, I would utilize the abilities of a class that is to make them more powerful.

    You could give them the abilities of a Spell Fencer to imbue a weapon with magic and increase damage output, as well as exploit elemental weaknesses, but there are many other combinations...

    My one gripe with it is it drags at the end. There are some cool plot wists in the game's final chapters, but it forces you to beat the same bosses over and over a few times.

    damage. Which are the best lwr lvl abilities for Knight? Should I just be using it for defense? Just for damage? Maybe ditch it altogether lol. I feel like I'm missing something about this job ...

    The Knight class becomes more useful when you gain access to higher level swords and shields. Most of its useful support abilities (like Shield Lore and Dual Shields)...

    aren't learned until higher job levels. My advice is to stick with your current team and if you wish, return to this job when you've got better shields (try rebuilding Norende's Armor shop!).
