Missed the "The End" screen, but I beat it with the true ending. I do plan on getting the normal ending too for completionist sake though. ^_^

To get the Normal Ending: at any point from Chapter 5 on, keep hitting X after you're told to stop at any crystal. For the True Ending meanwhile, don't do that. Just progress as usual.

And don't worry – no matter which you choose, you'll get to save after you've beaten it, and you can just go back to Chapter 5 to go for any ending you like indefinitely.
