    the reason snakes not in this super smash bros. is because hes not an original nintendo character so he was only in brawl not the other smash bros. games.

    Actually one of the original Metal Gear games was on the NES as well as one of the sequels, 'Snakes Revenge', which is why he was in Brawl.
