    i typically use my greninja which has night slash, smack down, and water pledge (i use water shuriken if the move doesn't kill it in one hit that way i can keep count) once you get to 40 stop and just

    keep resetting the radar (not running into any shaking grass) untill you see one that shines then go into that grass and catch your pokemon! :D (also... i forgot to mention this but bring a LOT of....

    max repels and spray them so a random pokemon doesn't break your chain.... stay in big patches of grass otherwise there won't be enough spaces for grass to always shake

    friend safari there really is no method just encounter pokemon run from them and keep going till you find a shiny.... nothing really to say about soft resetting either except

    if its NOT sail or jaw fossil i reccommend getting at least 5 of whatever fossil your trying to get in shiny and saving right in front of the guy then restore and if there isn't a shiny soft reset

    that way your standing right where you need to be to get them.... as for masuada method breeding all i know is get one forein pokemon and one from your game and breed them the only thing really

    you need to pay attention to is gender so your not trying to breed two males or something like that lol other than that... complete the national dex and get the shiny charm that increases your chances

    i think thats about all i can think of.... the only way i haven't gotten one yet is by breeding... oh and you can find them in hordes... i reccomend having a pokemon with sweet scent for that... also

    there are ways to get specific pokemon... for example if you wanted klefki since it is a steel type bring a pokemon (in my case magneton) that has the magnet pull ability that draws in steel types

    and then just use sweet scent and it will draw in hordes of klefki (mostly its not ALWAYS klefki hordes but usually when you're in the spot where they are in hordes)
