    I recommend setting their secondary Ability to that of a Spell Fencer or Knight.

    The former lets you target elemental weaknesses, and the latter makes your Valkyrie a more defensive character, able to protect your crew members using their above average defenses.

    Valkyrie is one of my favorite jobs. I have Ringabel as Ninja/Valkyrie (w/ the latter maxed). It's super effective!

    Ninja and Valkyrie makes a pretty good combination, especially if you utilize Dual Wield.

    No, but you can assign Black and Time Magic to the same character. They just have to cast those spells on different turns.

    Crud! I had a really good idea to make a special move where the character summons a large thunderbolt, and then freezes time. I was going to call it "Chaos Control"! Yeah, I'm a big Sonic fan!
