take any number multiply it by 2 then do + 10 ÷2 and subtract the number you started with, with the number you have now you should get is 5.

It's sciency, because you're most likely (maybe) to choose 5 (which I chose) and multiply it by 2 (10), add it by 10 (20), divide it by 10 (10) and subtract with the number you started with (5) and 5!
