    On the submarine selection page, you press L to open the crew interface. There, you can see where to find the crew members. They appear as PURPLE dots on the sonar/radar.

    Once you rescue them, open up the crew interface again and select them. Different crew members have different effects, mind you. [I hope this helps!]
