I'll give it a shot. There are two endings - one where you intentionally break a crystal during the awakening, and one where you don't. There you go.

I should note that I'm pretty sure you can't intentionally break a crystal until Chapter 5, however. At least, maybe later.

between chapters 5-8 if u ignore airys warning to stop and keep pressing X ull break the crystal early thus triggering the false ending... not recommended til chap 6-7 though... Good Luck...

Level 75 is more than enough to finish the false ending. I got through it at level 60 without any trouble.

You can't until chapter 5, so nothing will happen. However, it doesn't make much sense in the storyline to do it until the end of Chapter 6. If you do it before then, some cutscenes won't be there.
