What's the best High-Rank armor to use for "Mark of a Hero"? I found out on the Monster Hunter Wiki that the monsters' strength is just as strong as if they were G-Rank. (More questions in comments)

    But any High-rank armor Choices? I use 3DS and have no WII U. It will be really hard to get to G-Rank. Plus I am the only person who has MH3U in my neighborhood.

    Rath Soul or Vangis could do the trick,but I have never used High Rank armors in that quest yet as I was already in G rank before I decided to finish the village quest

    But if you want G rank armors,I'd recommend Jaggi X,and any slime weapons should be good,as long as you know how to use it,but I used Dual Blades since that's my main weapon type

    and as for items,just bring lot's of potions and mega potion combinations,and bring a far caster too(and it's combination mats),in case your running low on heals

    It's not that hard,I solo'ed pretty much everything up till now,as I got a wii u back in june,you just have to know the monster's attack patterns and have a good weapon

    The G rank monsters just have added damage and is a bit more faster,so if you have an armor with a defense of about 400+ to 500+ and a weapon with atleast white sharpness

    Any high rank armor will do, their def can be boosted 2 G-rank def anyway. As 4 the soloing, any mh game can be solo'd imo the mh series isn't that hard it's simply adapting and memorization of-

    Certain quests can be very challenging and near impossible 2 beat but the series as a whole is straightforward in difficulty 2 me.
