Question

I'm sure it's been posted before but why has the original Contra never come to the Virtual Console? It's never been on Wii, 3ds, and now Wii U.

    I was just wondering that myself. They're either waiting for no apparent reason (see Earthbound) or there is a problem with the rights to the original.

    Shouldn't be a rights issue. It's a Konami game and they have Super C and Contra 3 on the eShop. They also have Castlevanias up.
