    raw and poison weapons work well too. high element weapons are only good against monsters with many/im hitzones that take next to no raw damage, like uragaan, agnaktor in armor mode, gold and silver,

    barioths, etc. brachi only has one such hitzone, it's horn.

    if you can stay very mobile, like hammer, sns, switchaxe and lbg it's not that difficult. for switchaxe and other slower walking-speed weapons try evade distance up.
